I had an really good stay at a wonderful hotel in Kandy. The staff at Veraima were friendly and catered to every need. I even had the pleasure of participating in a cookery class and enjoyed delicious curries. The pool was fantastic and the location, just outside of the busy city, was perfect for a peaceful stay. The rooms were spacious and luxurious, with a stylish bathroom and comfortable bed. The owner, a former rugby player, entertained us with amusing anecdotes and were very good too make our stay nice. The breakfast each morning was extensive and delicious. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the occasional WiFi issue and a lack of fridge in the room, I highly recommend Veraima for a good stay in Kandy. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Surrounded by trees and located up in the hills, it offers a quiet and peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The stylishly decorated rooms provide luxurious comfort at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. We also loved the anecdotes shared by the ex-rugby player owner, who was very helpful in arranging train tickets and giving us a personal tour.
We had no complaints!
